Thinking about doing your yard? Lessons I've learned...

We started with a large dirt lot and now, months later, have a wonderful place to hang with the kids, grill fabulous meals, and relax. Here's a brain dump of some of the things we learned along the way when using a landscaping professional.

Welcome to Backyardster!

My wife and I bought our first home last year. Knowing very little about landscaping, we spent a bunch of time researching design ideas, learning about which plants grow well in the area, and finding a landscaping contractor. It was definitely a learning experience!
